Volunteer Days at the Coastal Eco Centre, Skegness

I'm all in favour of voluntary work having done a bit in my time. However, reading an appeal by Skegness Coastal Eco Centre for volunteers prompted me to 'Google' Lincolnshire Volunteers.
There are at least 40 pages with an average of 10 organisations per page wanting volunteers.
Added to that our new Police Crime Commissioner Alan Hardwick is to take on 1000 volunters. Where on earth are all these folk comming from? The indications are perhaps the Boston area where the real jobs have been taken by EU migrants and other working for two thirds the minimum legal rate.
