Have you been approached by a beggar in Skegness?

POLICE are appealing for people who have been approached by a beggar in Skegness to contact them.

Police have recently received several reports of a man begging in the Skegness area asking members of the public for money and cigarettes.

PCSO Dave Bunker said that begging is an offence and is asking anyone who may have been approached by someone in the Skegness area begging and asking them for money, cigarettes or similar to report the incident to police by calling 101.
