Skegness people given opportunity to apply as a full time firefighter

PEOPLE in Skegness are being offered the chance to apply to become a full time firefighter.

Being a firefighter is a demanding and challenging role, it requires a combination of practical ability, mental resilience, a good level of physical fitness, ability to remain calm and focused in challenging and difficult circumstances and the ability to work as part of a team.

Part of a firefighter's job is to be able to drive brigade vehicles including fire engines so applicants must have a full UK manual driving licence.

People can apply from 7am on February 25 and acceptance of applications will stop when Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have received 500 applications. An additional 150 applicants will be held on a holding list.
